Bay to Bay Regatta - San Diego

Fun little race. I feel that this race could be so much more though. It's put on by the YMCA so they don't market it much.

Long Distance - Santa Clara Point (Mission Bay) to NTC Promenade (Big Bay). A bit over 16 miles.

Short Distance - NTC Promenade to Loop Paddle next to Harbor Island and back to NTC Promenade - 5 miles.

Weather was absolutely perfect today. Glassy conditions and no boats out in the big bay. Slight headwind coming back on the short course.

I did this event in 2009 on a prone board....kicked my butt on the long course.  That year it ended in Coronado at the foot of the Coronado Bridge.
