Does anyone else use a slackline for balance training?  Seems to work pretty well for Ryan.

If you find it too hard, try just with a small single fin (like 4'). It is much easier than no fin, but a great fun too.

Looks a lot like the alaia surfing that's being done now - makes me wonder if making a SUP with sharper, thinner rails will up the performance in this area... or maybe not - the paddle is the difference

Gong makes a specific Alaia finless SUP (wide, parallel rails, thin, 8'0).
The thing is insanely hard to paddle into waves because we paddle on one side, contrary to prone surfers who use both arms. I couldnt take a wave when I tried.
Finless on a narrow longboard SUP (~ 10') is doable however, but when you try you understand how good Ryan Helm is :-)
