Best board for lightweight

I am 5'8" and weigh 145 lbs.  I just sold a Yolo 14' Prowler because I am moving and wanted to get a new board once I get to the new place.  I have tried the Hobie 14' Elite, Bark Dominator, and M&M.  I felt pretty good on all the boards, stability felt the same, and couldn't tell a real difference in speed although I didn't time the runs.

I just wondered if any boards out there might be better for a lighter person.  I find a lot of threads on certain boards which are better for heavier guys so I figured the contrary must be true.

Is it worth looking into customs?

If you're interested in speed, then go with the narrower race boards. In general narrower = faster but less stable. If you're light, then you don't need as much width. Here are some suggestions for race boards:
- Starboard Ace, either 14x25 or 14x23.5
- Fanatic Falcon, 14x25
- Naish Javelin LE 14x23

All of these boards are faster than the Dominator or M&M.

If you're interested in downwind boards, all of the above boards are pretty good for downwind in moderate conditions.
